Singapore-based Fortis Global Healthcare would be listed on overseas stock markets, a top official of the Fortis group has said.
"We will definitely go for listing on overseas exchanges," Fortis Global Healthcare chairman Malvinder Mohan Singh said.
He said that the company, which focuses on delivery of healthcare in Asian countries, would see more acquisitions this year.
Fortis Global on Sunday night announced acquisition of two healthcare networks in Hong Kong and Australia. Besides, the company also launched the third Fortis medical facility in Kolkata.
Singh said that Fortis would make Kolkata its eastern regional hub. He said that the company would expand by setting up greenfield units, management contracts and acquisitions.
