
Pakistani cricket team’s former captain Shoaib Malik wished Indian tennis star, wife Sania Mirza on her 36th birthday. The former captain dropped a birthday message on Twitter, wishing her a healthy and happy life.
"Happy Birthday to you @MirzaSania. Wishing you a very healthy & happy life! Enjoy the day to the fullest," the tweet read.
The couple is reportedly all set to come together for a reality show on a popular OTT platform in Pakistan, Urduflix. The OTT platform had announced the appearance on Instagram stating, “The Mirza Malik Show very soon only on Urduflix."
His wishes come amid speculations about their separation after Mirza shared an Instagram post earlier this week, which read, “Where do broken hearts go? To find Allah.”
She had also posted a photo with their son Izhaan that said that moments with her son, get her through the hardest days. However. Both Malik and Mirza are yet to respond to the ongoing speculation about their split. Sania has been on her tennis tour, whereas Malik is taking on cricket match tours overseas.
Shoaib was recently seen on the Pakistani cricket show 'Ask the Pavillion'. On being asked about Sania's tennis academies, Shoaib said that he doesn't know much about the academies. To this, Waqar Younis jokingly said, "What kind of a husband are you?"
Sania announced retirement from professional tennis earlier this year, but she altered her plans after pulling out of US Open 2022. Just before the start of US Open, Sania injured her elbow.
The sports star couple tied the knot in 2010 in a traditional Hyderabadi Muslim ceremony at the Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad. They have a son together, Izhaan Mirza Malik. Both Sania and Shoaib had celebrated their son’s birthday together in October.
