Jet-lagged and nursing a bad cold (and a diet coke) amid high security at the new wing of the Taj Colaba in Mumbai, Sen, who was in the city in his capacity as jury chair for the Infosys Prizes in Social Sciences, was nevertheless characteristically lucid as he disentangled the treacly issues of inclusive growth, microfinance and land acquisition.
