NFC would let users buy products and services and share files directly through their
smartphones .
Near field communication (
NFC) is a set of standards to establish radio communication between smartphones by bringing them into close proximity.
Many reports had earlier speculated that the Apple's new iPhone launched earlier this year would have hardware to support NFC but this feature was not included in the latest version of iPhone.
