ZTE Corporation has launched a
Jelly Bean smartphone - ZTE N880E - in China, just one week after the release of the official version of the new mobile device operating system.
ZTE N880E is among the world's first
Android 4.1 handsets.
ZTE says that N880E is the first Android 4.1 smartphone launched in China and the third in the world. ZTE plans to soon launch other handsets with Android 4.1.
ZTE N880E has a 4.0-inch capacitive WVGA touchscreen, 4 GB of memory and a 3.2MP AF camera and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm 7627A processor.
The ZTE N880E was originally launched in May 2012 based on Android 2.3.
