Micromax, which has started to accept pre-bookings for its forthcoming
Canvas 4 smartphone, has announced that it would be available on EMI option.
Though Micromax has not yet disclosed the price of Canvas 4, customers can pre-book the Canvas 4 now by paying Rs 5,000. Micromax will announce the pricing of Canvas 4 on 8th of July.
Customers who have pre-booked the phone will have to pay the remaining amount within July 8 to July 15.
Though no EMI option is available on Canvas 4 pre-booking, Micromax said the balance amount can payable can be paid in EMIs over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.
Since Micromax has made EMI option available for Canvas 4, it seems that Canvas 4 would be its highest priced phone on offer. At present Micromax's highest priced phone,
Canvas HD A116, is priced at Rs 14,499 though many online retailers sell it upwards of Rs 13,000.
Micromax will begin shipment of Canvas 4 from 10th of July for those customers who have pre-booked the phone.
So far Micromax has managed to create a lot of buzz around the Canvas 4 launch. Canvas 4 has been one of the top search words on Google among Indian netizens ever since Micromax ran a teaser campaign on TV about its launch.
