Priced at Rs 43,180, Samsung on Thursday
launched its smartphone Galaxy SIII in India. The smartphone is priced slightly lower than Apple's iPhone 4S that comes at a price of Rs 44,500 for the 16-GB model, Rs 50,900 for the 32-GB and Rs 57,500 for 64-GB versions respectively.
However, the phone's pricing is higher than HTC One X, which is priced at Rs 37,899.
The Galaxy series of smartphones have been widely acknowledged as a success for Samsung.
The 4.8-inch S III features more computing power that supports voice commands and an eye-movement tracking feature to keep the screen from dimming.
