Vijay Deverakonda fulfills promise, sends 100 fans on paid vacation to Manali

Vijay Deverakonda, who was last seen in Puri Jagannadh’s Liger, has arranged an all-expense-paid trip for 100 of his fans to the snow-capped mountains of Manali.

The actor took to social media to share a video made by his fans as they were on their way to the trip.

"Cutest they sent me a video from their flight this morning. They are off on their holiday to the mountains! 100 from across the country, makes me so happy #deverasanta (sic)," he wrote.

Vijay Deverakonda began an annual tradition of giving his fans special Christmas gifts five years ago. In 2022, he took to social media to ask his fans to choose between “mountains, beaches, desert or cultural trip of India.”

42.5 per cent of his fans voted for a trip to the mountains.

Later, the actor announced that 100 people will go to the mountains. “100 of you go to the mountains. Update! Happy new year. Big kisses and lots of love to all of you,” read his tweet.

In a separate tweet, the Arjun Reddy actor also shared the images of the property where the 100 selected people would stay.

“Booked your stay. This is where you'll be staying… These most beautiful properties in Manali - hosted by #StayVista. Final list of names will be announced tomorrow. #Deverasanta2022,” he wrote.

Followed by this, he revealed the names of 100 lucky winners who were randomly selected for the trip.

"And here are the 100 of you, randomly selected this year :) Travel dates - February 17- 20. Will do a call group call and speak soon."

On the work front, Deverakonda will be seen in Kushi alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He also has a film with Gowtam Tinnanuri, where he will play the role of a cop.
